Bio of Matthew P. Galvin
Matthew Galvin has provided effective results for businesses of every size throughout his career. He has worked for over 20 years in professional photography and video production. Along the way he has designed and engineered countless video and audio production facilities throughout California. In working closely with video distribution, Matthew began developing projects for the Internet in 1995. Since then, he has developed and deployed thousands of affordable web properties for all kinds of business operations, including ecommerce and online marketing.
Matthew attended U.C. Santa Cruz where he studied cultural theory, art history, digital media arts, electronic music synthesis, history of consciousness, and psychoacoustics.
Matthew's exploration of video and audio infrastructure and network technologies has also involved many datacenter and telecommunications infrastructure and services projects including frame relay microwave and a vast span of 802.11x projects for MAN, WAN, and campus LAN.
Matthew has concentrated his creative energies primarily on designing, engineering, and developing digital media production and distribution environments which emphasize purely digital production; developing studio environments which transcend tape-based production and distribution methodologies and extend production and distribution capabilities over IP and satellite networks.
Matthew continues to produce, as well as provide business marketing and technology solutions from Santa Cruz, CA.
